The Palestinian Solidarity Committee (PSC) at Harvard University has called for a boycott of an academic research trip being organized for this spring break.
The committee urges students to refrain from participating in the trip, accusing it of legitimizing the Israeli regime’s policies against Palestinians.
For years, the PSC has opposed such trips, arguing they limit students’ access to direct information regarding the situation in the region.
While the call for a boycott has received support from some students, organizers of the trip assert that it offers a platform for presenting various perspectives.
Participants in the program will have the opportunity to meet speakers from both the Israeli regime and the Palestinian side.
Despite this, the PSC continues to encourage students to decline the trip and to express a political stance against the Israeli regime.
