Opposition parties in Ireland, particularly the Social Democrats, have called for a boycott against the Israeli regime.
They criticize the use of “Cellebrite” technology produced by the Israeli regime by the Irish police (Garda Síochána).
Opposition representatives demand the cessation of such technological collaborations in protest against the Israeli regime’s policies in the Palestinian territories.
Gary Gannon, the justice spokesperson for the Social Democrats, emphasized that the Israeli regime is an unreliable partner and called for the severance of technological ties with that country.
Amnesty International has also opposed this collaboration, noting that Cellebrite technology is used against journalists and activists.
