The leader of the Yemeni Ansarullah movement, Sayyid Abdulmalik Al-Houthi, has emphasized that boycotting Israeli and American goods serves as a crucial weapon in the face of aggression. He stated that “the enemy seeks to exploit the wealth of other nations and turn their populations into markets for its products.”
Speaking on the occasion of the anniversary of Sayyid Hussein Badreddin Al-Houthi’s martyrdom, known as the “Martyr of the Holy Quran,” Al-Houthi highlighted that economic sanctions are employed by adversaries to undermine countries, yet they can also act as a catalyst for progress, economic development, and self-sufficiency.
Al-Houthi remarked, “After September 11, the United States used it as a pretext to launch large-scale aggression aimed at dominating the Islamic Ummah, occupying nations, and erasing the identity of this Ummah. Official regimes, including Yemen, surrendered to American influence and closed all doors to dialogue.” He noted that despite the so-called “anti-terror coalition,” the U.S. was able to infiltrate every corner of Yemen, leaving the Yemeni elite and political parties in a vulnerable position. However, due to the martyr’s profound sense of religious responsibility and awareness of the dangers faced, the Holy Quran remained a source of resilience.
He warned that adversaries aim to mislead and corrupt the nation, stating that many young people perceive American and Israeli actions as fleeting rather than recognizing them as part of a calculated plan—one he referred to as the “Zionist Project,” which poses a dangerous threat to the nation.
Al-Houthi praised the steadfastness of Palestinian fighters and reiterated the importance of the Palestinian cause to the Islamic Ummah. He urged support for Palestinian resistance and criticized those who align with U.S. policies that bolster the occupying regime. “The devastation in Gaza results from America’s military backing and financial aid to Israel,” he stated.
The Ansarullah leader affirmed Yemen’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause, pledging to continue military, media, and political actions in solidarity with Palestine, mirroring efforts made over the past 15 months.
He also emphasized that Ansarullah is monitoring the Gaza agreement and developments in the West Bank and Jenin closely, warning the occupying regime of dire consequences for any violation of the ceasefire or escalation of violence. He declared that any breach of the agreement would elicit a swift and severe response.
Furthermore, he reiterated the commitment to uphold the principles established by the martyr Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah in protecting Al-Aqsa Mosque, stating that cooperation continues with the resistance axis in countering Israeli threats.
In a definitive message to the U.S. and its allies, Sayyid Abdulmalik Al-Houthi asserted that Yemen remains prepared to confront any American aggression, regardless of its scale or level.
