Gaza War Journal

Çox oxunanlar

First Day (October 7)

On this day, the Palestinian resistance initiated the Operation Al-Aqsa Storm in response to the escalating offenses committed by the Zionist regime, particularly against the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

This operation inflicted a severe blow to the intelligence, security, and military infrastructure of the Zionist regime.

Using this operation as a pretext, the Zionist regime commenced a new series of assaults on the besieged Gaza Strip—attacks characterized by experts and international observers as unprecedented war crimes and genocide.

Second Day (October 8)

Officially declaring war on Gaza, the Zionist regime issued warnings to citizens in the northern Gaza Strip, urging them to evacuate their homes and relocate to the south. This marked the initial step in the premeditated program of forcibly displacing Gaza residents, inducing terror to achieve this end.

Responding to the escalation of violence in the occupied territories and Gaza, the Security Council convened a meeting at the request of Malta, with the support of the UAE and Brazil. Concerns were expressed about this alarming trend.

While countries like Jordan cautioned against the heightened attacks by the Zionist regime in Gaza and the West Bank, the United States reiterated its support for the Zionist regime, asserting the right to legitimate defense.

Third Day (October 9)

The Zionist regime intensified its attacks on residential homes, mosques, and civilian areas in Gaza. Despite a closed-door meeting, the Security Council failed to achieve the necessary unanimity to issue a joint statement.

Fourth Day (October 10)

The Zionist regime declared a complete siege on Gaza, severing water and electricity supplies.

Fifth Day (October 11)

As per the announcement by Gaza authorities, the Zionist regime bombarded the Al-Karama neighborhood in the Gaza Strip using white phosphorus.

Sixth Day (October 12)

On this day, the Zionist regime bombed eight Palestinian refugee camps in the Gaza Strip.

Seventh Day (October 13)

Refugee camps in Jabalia, Al-Shati, and Al-Nuseirat in Gaza were subjected to further bombings. Human Rights Watch accused the Zionist regime of employing white phosphorus chemical in military attacks on Gaza and Lebanon.

Eighth Day (October 14)

Israel warned half of the Gaza Strip’s population of an impending attack on northern Gaza, instructing residents to evacuate—an additional step in the premeditated plan to forcibly relocate Palestinians.

The forced evacuation of northern Gaza was condemned by human rights observers as a war crime. Simultaneously, on this day, a Reuters cameraman was killed, and several other journalists, including two Al Jazeera employees, were injured due to a Zionist regime missile attack on a media convoy in southern Lebanon. The Supreme Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court also asserted the court’s jurisdiction to investigate potential war crimes in Gaza.

10th day (October 16)

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs announced that all hospitals across Gaza would receive fuel supplies within 24 hours.

11th day (October 17)

The Zionist regime launched an attack on Al-Ahli Arab or Al-Moamdani Hospital in Gaza City, resulting in the tragic death of at least 471 individuals. The majority of the casualties were women, children, and Palestinian refugees, marking one of the gravest crimes committed by the Zionist regime in Gaza. Simultaneously, the regime bombed a UN school in Al-Maghazi refugee camp in Deir al-Balah, Gaza. The World Health Organization issued a warning that Gaza would only have water, electricity, and fuel for 24 hours.

12th day (October 18)

The Zionist regime intensified bombings, pressuring residents in northern Gaza to relocate to the south. An UNRWA school and a bakery in the Nusirat refugee camp were targeted by the Zionist regime. The Security Council did not vote on a draft resolution for a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza, as the U.S. vetoed it.

13th day (October 19)

The Zionist regime continued its attacks on Palestinian refugee camps in Jabalia and Nuseirat in Gaza.

14th day (October 20)

The Zionist regime targeted the Church of Saint Porphyrios, a Greek Orthodox church in the center of Gaza City, where displaced Christians and Muslims sought refuge. The “Al Brij” camp in Deir al-Balah, Gaza, and the historic Boghor Al-Omari Mosque in the north of the Gaza Strip were also bombed. On this day, the Rafah crossing was finally opened for the arrival of the first trucks carrying humanitarian aid.

15th day (October 21)

The Zionist regime carried out its most violent attacks in Gaza within 24 hours, resulting in the tragic death of over 400 Palestinians. Twenty humanitarian aid trucks entered Gaza, although humanitarian groups expressed that the aid provided was only a fraction of what was needed.

16th day (October 22)

Gaza experienced its bloodiest 24 hours since October 7, with 25 Israeli air strikes recorded. According to Al-Quds hospital in Gaza, 65% of the casualties were children.

17th day (October 23)

The “Al-Shati” refugee camp in northern Gaza was bombed. The air attack on the “Indonesian” hospital caused serious injuries and damages. Areas around “Al-Shafa” and “Al-Quds” hospitals were also targeted.

18th day (October 24)

More than 700 Palestinians lost their lives in the night attacks by the Zionist regime on Gaza. Al-Shati, Al-Brij, Jabalia, and Nuseirat refugee camps were among the areas bombed. The Zionist regime also targeted regions adjacent to Al-Ofa Hospital and the Palestinian Red Crescent.

20th day (October 26)

The Security Council convened to review a resolution proposed by Jordan, aiming to establish a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

22nd day (October 28)

The Zionist regime ordered the immediate evacuation of Al-Quds Hospital and bombed the areas around Al-Quds, Al-Shafa, Indonesia, Al-Sadaqa, and European Hospitals. Communication and internet access in the Gaza Strip were also cut off. On the same day, the United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution calling for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza, despite opposition from the United States and the Zionist regime. The vote showed a significant international divide, with 120 countries in favor of the resolution, 14 against, and 45 abstaining.

24th day (October 30)

After enduring a three-week complete siege, the residents of Gaza sought refuge in UN warehouses. They congregated in front of UN and other international organization warehouses to receive much-needed food.

25th day (October 31)

Non-permanent member states of the UN Security Council initiated efforts on a new draft resolution to establish a ceasefire in Gaza, following the failure of four previous resolutions. The UAE called for a Security Council meeting on Gaza on this day.

In a second attack within 24 hours, the Zionist regime targeted the densely populated Jabalia camp. Before these latest assaults, the camp was home to 116 thousand people. The attack resulted in at least 100 fatalities. On Tuesday evening (October 31), a campaign was launched on the former Twitter social network “X” to boycott American and Israeli goods. Advocates viewed this initiative as an available and effective means to support Gaza.
